State Parks in Panama City Beach

Camp Helen Canoe & Kayak Rentals
The Friends of Camp Helen State Park is a Florida Citizens Support Organization (CSO) which assists the Florida Park Service in the preservation, restoration and improvement of Camp Helen State Park. Camp Helen became a State Park in 1996 through a grassroots effort to save the 183.5 acres from private development.The park is surrounded on three sides by water. The Gulf of Mexico is on the south and Lake Powell, an 867-acre coastal dune lake, is on the east and north sides.

St. Andrews State Park
St. Andrews State Park has been open to the public since 1951. The park offers some of the best resources for Educational/Historical research. From its state of the art Environmental Interpretative Center, History of the Guns of St. Andrews, to a Replica Old Cracker Turpentine Still on the park. This park offers tours of any of these amenities upon request.
